Welcome Alexa!

We are happy to welcome Alexa Dani to our cryoWriter family. Alexa will work as Application Scientist and focusing on generating and fine-tuning application protocols for our customers and will be involved in specific co-development projects with research partners.

Alexa holds an MSc in Nanoscience from the University of Basel and has gained prior professional experience in both medical device development at ARTIDIS and pharmaceutical technical development at Roche. Her work to date has focused on the use of cutting-edge technologies to address fundamental questions in materials science and biology.

Originally from Hungary and raised in Germany, Alexa has been based in Basel since the start of her studies and values the region’s cultural diversity. She is excited to bring her interdisciplinary background to cryoWrite and collaborate with the team.

In addition to her professional work, she serves as a board member of the Nano Alumni Association at the University of Basel and volunteers with the Swiss Red Cross. In her free time, she enjoys activities with attention to detail, such as embroidery and dancing.
