“The CryoWriter offers us the unique possibility to prepare excellent cryo-EM grids from much less than one microliter of sample and then continue using most of the remaining sample of that microliter volume for other experiments. In addition, the CryoWriter is an ideal platform to develop further microfluidic protocols, such as nanoliter protein extraction from tissue, or microfluidic protein purification using microliters or less of volumes, which are subsequently directly connected to rapid cryo-EM grid preparation. “
