Grid loading
the cryoWriter gripper uses computer vision control to select pre-loaded grids in the grid loader, takes the grid to the vacuum plasma glow discharger for hydrophilisation and places it on the launchpad for writing

Pipette Unit
The pipette unit is a central element of the cryowriter. With its capillary pipette and precise pump unit it is able to aspirate and dispense samples and other fluids in nanoliter precision, to perform protein isolation when placed in the MagTrap, and to write a grid.
A dedicated and temperature controlled sample incubator allows for different samples, buffer solutions and other fluids.
